I'm thinking about dabbling in the stock market and i'm wondering whats the easiest way to do it. I have an AIB bank acocunt so i just applied for their online share dealing service so i may see what that's like. Has anybody got experience of this? What's the cheapest way to do it? It seems to me that if you set up an account with Fexco you have to call them to buy/sell shares. I'd rather be able to do this online as i can be quite slow to pick up the phone to do these things! Especially as i'd be at work during the day and would rather ppl didnt hear me on the phone.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Have you considered something like spread betting instead?

Have a look at the tutorials on http://www.paddypowertrader.com it explains everything and the system is pretty simple to use.
