Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

upgrading from windows 95/98 to windows xp

    Hi,

    I want to upgrade from windows 95 to Xp on an older desktop.

    I have a dell inspiron 1300 laptop with windows xp but i have no utility/recovery cd for it.If i had that cd,would i be able to upgrade the older desktop with it?

    Also where can I get this cd?I bought the laptop off dell over a year ago.

    A dell recovery cd would only work on the model of pc that it came with.
    If you want to install XP on the older desktop you'll need to buy another copy (or face a ban if you ask for any ways around this...)

    If the PC is old enough to have Windows 95/98, are you sure it is up to running XP anyway?
