I must confess, I've never played a "real" P90. The closest I've come is a Dream 90 GFS pickup.

    *hangs head in shame:(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,443 ✭✭✭Red Sleeping Beauty

    I know , I know :(
I saw on the Squier 51 Mod forum someone had put a P90 in it.

Shame them guitars didn't get discounted here like they were in America , they seem like the ultimate mod'ing guitar

Check out the Epi Dot thread, I posted a Yamaha that looks nice with a 3 P90 pup combo

punchdrunk, the Coppercaster is quite amazing. It's so much nicer than the normal butterscotch finish, if you ask me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,355 ✭✭✭punchdrunk

    al i had a '51 didn't really rate it,

this though is a crackin guitar for 200 quid...

    cheers Ravelleman!

they're doing great things these days!
theres a big buzz about their classic vibe line at the moment
that 50's tele would be amazing modded with a p-90 in the neck :pac:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,443 ✭✭✭Red Sleeping Beauty

Squiers I think are fantastic, especially if you get one secondhand.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,817 ✭✭✭✭Dord

Damn Dord, that's givin me GAS :(
I saw a pic of double cut studio in wine/red there a while ago and it sent me off to see how much the UK are for them.

Leslie West I think is one of the best Jr. players :)

    Yeah he's a great player. :)

P90's are awesome, and if I manage to get another guitar it'll have one too. I want to get a wacky hybrid between a LP Jr and flying V made....

Would you prefer if we rounded up everyone who posted unnecessary posts in the "post-your-gear" thread, and threw them down a well?:).

hiya, I've "inherited" a guitar off a family member, it's a BC Rich but I don't know what type of BC Rich one it is, all I know is the model number is RE30-TBK and it's a semi-acoustic

am I allowed to post a picture in the 'picutres only' thread, so that someone might be able to identify it for me?

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 23,362 Mod ✭✭✭✭feylya

Gentlemen, it disgusts me that you would each, as a man, let a Bacchus T-Master lie neglected on the u-box without taking it upon yourselves to redeem such a scurrilous situation by doing whatever it takes to restore honour and dignity after such a dastardly deed. I felt, as a gentleman, I was left with no choice but to throw myself upon the explosive and bear its terrible force and, thus, I did sell on some other instrumental hardware in my keep and purchase said T-Master for little more than a pittance. I believe this was the only appropriate action and, hopefully, the standards of our time have been respected and all is well again within the universe. As I am a gentleman I shall still bid you good day should we cross paths on the street, however I shall mean it only half heartedly.

Oh yes, I really like the Tokai too :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,817 ✭✭✭✭Dord

So, what? Doc has the Tokai ES now??!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,848 ✭✭✭✭Doctor J

It's those meet-ups man, they're dangerous. Kavo and Boycey are Duked up as a result and, after playing Quattroste's ES, I had bad, bad GAS for one, hence me selling loads of stuff off at low, low prices:D

And it sounds oh so nice, honestly the tone out of it is ****ing superb, that's the main thing. The Hawk - right speaker :D

That was what appealed to me about Ste's one, such a nice sound out of it.
