Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Had a look at those Zerberus guitars, very nice indeed but look very much aimed at the metal shredders market.

They need to work on their motto as well:

Our motto is: "Quality starts with the design process and includes the incorporation of the highest quality, cured tone woods and the best hardware and best componentry available on the market.
Whilst quality inspection can be useful in some situations, it is our aim to circumvent, as much as possible, its need by ensuring that we build our products 'right first time`.
This is assisted by the fact that our guitars are hand built and finished by highly-trained skilled craftsmen, many of whom are also keen guitarists.
When you purchase a Zerberus guitar, you will own a unique, organic product that has been loved and cared for from its inception and which is designed to last a lifetime."

Yeah, doesn't quite roll off the tongue like some mottos. Maybe it's only 3 or 4 words in latin? Qualitas Rockis Maximus

I think that's probably just down to the translation of the German itself.

They look nice though, but for the money there's a lot of similar types like ViK and Daemoness etc.

That Bacchus P90 and many others are his, the man has such a tasty collection, and that's before you start on the basses.
That's his , mine, Feylya's and Ancient One's stash, all gathered for a Saturday night session. Nerds we are.

I must gather up my gear and get it all photographed with Karl Hungus's collection. It probably won't come anywhere near that quantity though.

    Thanks man! I went for a Vintage 30 & a G12H, it's a nice mix. The Univalve always sounded a bit thin through the 1x12, it's a different amp with the 2x12.

'fraid not. It's a World series I've had from new since 1991, with a Ludwig black Beauty I've had since 2006. Could do with a new set of heads but apart from that it's all good. And LOUD. :D

Which was a very very nice guitar by the way with great build quality
Love to hear it with the mahogany body
Im sure you'll love it tomorow

As for the repair it was done in the mid 90s & its rock solid
I lost my fiath in gibson a few years ago & went down the jap route
but ill definately hold on to this one

I realise that my comment there could have sounded a bit negative, depending on how you read it. I was just poking fun at "teh Gibsun QC" issues!

Anyway, as you know, a lot of people play Gibsons with repairs for years and have no problems - some even say that repaired necks can end up stronger than the original for assorted reasons.

If we ever get round to another of these meet-ups you'll be welcome to play the new ASAT.

I love my repaired Gibson SG, cost a fraction of what an unbroken one woulda cost me too so all round win and that Les Paul is a beauty.

Just picked up two new guitars online (I really do need help). I picked up a J. Frog Skull and Bones. This based off of the original Johnny Garcia hand carved guitar that was built for George Lynch back in the 80's. I also picked up an EVH Wolfgang Special.

I'll post some pictures over the weekend. These are two amazing guitars.

The body of the guitar is hand carved. The depth and detail is amazing. I tried to capture it as best I could in a couple of quick pictures.

Pics thread is probably too big for it's own worth. A lot of the pictures don't even appear anymore. I say start again.

I'm probably still in the honeymoon stage, but it's still blowing my mind. I compared it to a Thunder 30, it's bigger brother the OR50 and a Rockerverb 50, and it destroyed the Thunder 30 and stood up to the other two.

It's that classic Orange mid range tone, but with a ton of gain on tap if you need it. And 15 watts means I can push the power section a lot harder than a big amp, it overpowers a heavy hitting hardcore drummer at around 9 o'clock.

I reckon talking is where the real fun comes in. Separating the threads strikes me as a very boards.ie solution to a problem that probably doesn't exist.

Maybe so, but a pedal board sticky might be entertaining. With talkin' and all.
