Iam going to interview someone as part of my course work :)

They moved to England in the 1960s.

Could anyone suggest questions to ask?

This is what I have so far.
1 – Explain your early childhood.

2 – Was there many jobs to be had?

3 – What was your aspirations for the future?

4 – What was the general situation in Ireland?

5 – Did your friends emigrate?

    6 – What was your family's opinion?

7 – Did you want to emigrate? Why?

8 – Detail the day that you left Ireland, feelings etc.

9 – What was your arrangements in England?

10 – What was the job?

11 – Did it pay well?

12 – What were your plans for the future?

13 – Did you ever visit home?

    14 -

    Thanks everyone.

What sort of angle are you going to look for in the interview? How they were subjected, treated, or how the economy was compared to here.. etc..?

Everything. Mostly what life was like and what they think of Ireland now.
I want to establish if there was a trend.
