Rip off at €3 a pop imo.

And as for the website

Wish 'em all the best. Obviously going with the speed and comfort market hoping the extra cost doesn't put people off.

Might not be much good for me since it will take me 10 minutes to walk to the nearest stop point going to the City Centre. That's a 45 minute journey then!

I also posted this thread over in the Commuting & Transport Forum where there has been much more discussion! ;)

And what about the Air Coach which is €7 for a shorter journey.
I took the Swords Express last week and was very impressed.
€3 for a 30 minute journey to town is an absolute bargain in my opinion.

And the swords express drops you to your front door just like the Swords express then? Hardly a fair comparison.

€3 versus €2 on the 41X for the same service (basing that on the journey times in the morning as they both go thru the port tunnel).

It's also €7 from Dublin Airport to Leopardstown which is possibly longer(?) than Swords to Dublin (and a departure every 15 minutes for 19 hours per day and hourly afterwards).

I presume Sizzler meant to say "and the Swords Express drops you to your front door just like a taxi". ;)

Tried this out recently - great service. Comfortable and reliable - Far Superior to Dublin Bus.

I read recently that Dublin Bus are stepping up their efforts to get a deal done to allow one of their bus services from Swords to use the Port Tunnel. Its a shame that its taken a bit of competition to get them moving on this.

I don't think this is true in fact I think its the competition/dept of transport who are stopping them from using the DPT.IIRC they were using it for a while but were stopped.
