Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

Can anyone reccomend somewhere good for men in Dublin? I usually go to a barber and spend 15 euro or so.

For a change I'd like to go somewhere where a stylist would reccomend a style for me.

    Thanks

Got my haircut in the Grafton Barbers during the week, very impressed with them! 20 quid gets ya a wash, massage and a cut.

    Hey,
I was just gonna post the same q.
Anyway, those barbers sound good but what i would e looking for is to go in somewhere where they'll help me change my style, im so sick of a 2/3 blade on the sides and a trim on the top.

have been disappointed by Grafton Barber in visits there over the past year. They've lost some of their top snippers, and they're badly missed. They've been replaced by well-intentioned but inexperienced hair-cutters who lead inane conversations in poor English with customers that sound like something out of a cheesy script - 'do anything at the weekend' etc etc

Tried the Barber Room on Trinity Street (near 'the Westin') today, and would give it a 6.5/10.

Place on Montague Lane (off Camden Street, down near the post office) can be fun.

Very inventive chap in a 'salon' type place in the Georges Street Arcade. You could give that a whirl if you're after a radical new 'do'

It's very difficult finding someone who can take a man who wants a new style but doesn't know exactly what to ask for, and who can make him look a million bucks. I've tried a number of salons (e.g. house of color most recently), but they're typically used to dealing with women.

I've been searching and searching and searching. I have wavy hair, and typically I'm told that my only styling choice is to wear it messy, unless you take out the GHD. Seriously?

Surely there are a few people in Dublin who are THE best men's stylists? Not barbers, but stylists. I see some great, obviously styled, haircuts on men around town, but obviously you're not going to go up to someone and ask where they got it.

    san kiev, ask for Kevin.
Never let me down, they do exactly what i want and when i wanted something new they've come up with some cool styles.

Grafton barber is a joke and has screwed up the hair of anyone i know who went to them! ...unless your into the common number 2 on the sides number whatever on top

Grafton Barber used to be good but is now terrible and a ripoff. Never again.
