Lucky win.... Field goal right at the death.... Quite disappointed with the Colts now.

injuries eem to be really taking their toll now, and the loss to the Pats looks like its had a knock on effect. Maybe the win last night tho will spur them on. Vinatieri was being booed a lot too, and he had missed 4 in a row, unheard of for him. Glad for his sake he won the game with a last kick. Manning not firing on all cylinders either, no TD for him. But he had a very effective last drive, and thats where it counts. I wouldnt be ruling out the Colts, and they are still in my mind the team which can knock the Pats down. Steelers proved their indifferent season by losing to the Jets last night.

Manning hasn't been having the best couple of weeks. What was it 4 interceptions last week. Crazy. Hopefully now this will give them some confidence.

    I thought it was 6.

They're hurting right now. But the sign of a good team is playing on and winning despite injuries. That's what they have to do.
They can still be dangerous in the playoffs and if I were a Colts fan I would be more worried about Vinatieri than Manning. If they're hurt and not dominating, they're gonna need FGs in close games.

Yes it was 6 interceptions last week. 21-0 down to a poor enough Chargers after a little over a quarter. Anyway, the important thing was to get a win yesterday to get momentum going again. I think the Colts realise after the last 8 years that going 10-0 or even 13-0 doesn't necessarily guarantee you a superbowl slot. Also the Colts went through a bad spell this time last year losing games towards the end of the regular season, yet ended up going to the big game.

It looked like they might be in trouble with the Steelers catching them, but seen as how they lost to the Jets, they should still be the no.2 team in AFC... Jacksonville could try & throw a spanner in the works though, they're only 1 game back... (colts will probably stuff them at home though)

To echo what's been said, Viniateri (sp?) is the big worry, when did he ever miss 4 on the bounce??

Also, is their injury situation improving at all?

Not quite sure. Can't even check out the official NFL site in my college for some reason or other it's blocked.
