I'm not going to list everyone I've seen, just the best and the worst..

    The Best..
Roger Waters-he plays a very, very long concert and was probably the best I've ever seen. The crowd were just metal all through the gig.
Neil Young-also a very long one and his last tour got the much deserved acclaim as one of his greatest tours.
Flaming Lips-definetly one of the best live bands in world. Even non-fans are just blown away by the Lips live. The whole bubble thing and the costumes is just unreal, as is the music btw.
    Ryan Adams-Great live performer.
    Tom Waits-just unreal, nuff said.
Peter Broderick-only saw this guy on friday night last. Bon Iver meets Sigur Ros. A multi-instrumentalist to the core and literally runs from instrument to instrument. Donal Dineen plays this guy alot. One of the shortest gigs ever though.

    The worst..

Not many really but Fionn Regan just didn't do it for me. He just seemed uninterested at the time.

The first was Slade, in the National Stadium. The best was Roger Waters in the Marquee, though Massive Attack were great in the same venue. John Cale in the early '80's, Souixe and The Banshees, Dr Feelgood, Genesis with Peter Gabriel (supporting Lindesfarne), the Rats, The Radiators From Space, John Cooper Clarke, Echo and The Bunnymen, The Clash, Roogalator etc etc.

I remember that Police gig in Leixlip. I was in boarding school in Clongowes. About 10 or fifteen miles away. No joke, I was playing rugby and we heard message in a bottle coming in clearly over the fields. I remember someone singing along while we were in a scrum. Big crack up.

Not to stry too much off topic but...I will never forget standing in the Liffey in Clane fly fishing and clear as day hearing Eminem play in Punchestown, I mean so clear as to sing along!
