Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wool, wool...everywhere!!

    Hi guys!

    I'm posting this thread to see if there is anyone else out there that happens to have the same really annoyin affliction. I'm allergic to wool and my problem is I'm trying to find a good winter coat (to keep me warm when waiting on taxis at 3/4/5 in the morning!) but ALL the shops i've been in, every last winter coat they have has a wool percentage in it.

    Do these shops/designers/manufacturers not realise people may be allergic to wool? AHHHH

    I find wool really irritating to the extent that I can not wear it (it brings me up in a rash, so I guess that you could call me allergic). I do not have problems with coats though as I have sufficient layers between me and it.     The coat is lovely, but the fluffy collar would also set off my allergies... My allergic reaction is not a rash though, it's sneezing, runny nose and eyes, itchy eyes and eventually swelling of my eyes.

    I just thought it very unusual that there wouldn't even be one decent, currently stylish winter coat without wool.

    How about getting a parka jacket - they can look quite nice - see the attached link - I got something very similar last year and it is very warm.
