Sony DSR-200 or any other model DV-in enablement

has anyone else done it or got the tools ? because of our horrible EU overlords we have a tax on equipment with DV-in or AV-in so my DSR-200p is without DV-in, anyone got the kit to enable it ? also anyone else think we should abandon this stupid tax,
