a little pet hate of mine, reminded by that thread in AH. would it be possible to put that remember me button on the homepage with the login form like it is everywhere else? i tend to delete my cookies fairly regularly, so i end up logging in then having to log in again somewhere else if i make a long post or something and have timed out... it'd just give me something less to bitch about and free up my time for debating the real important things in life... like beer. or pie.

That's something that always bothers me too! I know it's not that much of a problem to go onto a thread so that I can check the "Remember Me" box, but I keep forgetting :(

Why not bookmark AH instead of the homepage? That way you can get to tick the RM box as you log in. Thats the way I do it anyway.

but it's the homepage... and it's got the list of recent posts...

But what happens when someone makes an interesting post in the Nordic forum? From AH, I'll have to click on the Boards.ie logo to go to the homepage, read through the recent posts and then I'll see the interesting post and can click on it. But that's one click too many! I'm not made of clicks!

Subscribe to the Nordic forum. :)

Is any clicking involved in that?

Some initial clicking to subscribe in the first place, but then it's in the drop down menu under subbed.

Hmmm, although it may seem like a work around, this still presents a problem if there are no new posts in the Nordic forum. It'll be two wasted clicks. Clicks that could of been used for porn!

The subscribe option with no e-mail notification is the win,

I have about 20 forums on my subscribe menu which can be accessed from any page on boards,

But any page can be accessed from any other page because of the menu bar at the top of every page.

But significantly less hovering is involved.
