Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A/V Port or Cable problem

I bought an Xbox today and seem to be having a problem with the AV cable or port. Connected it all up then when I switched over to AV channel on TV I saw there was no picture coming through. I thought cables were lose going into TV checked and they weren't then looked at AV port. It was in fully which I presume you are meant to do with it as the cable is designed to slot in fully. I actually pulled it out a little bit and bingo, picture and I thought oh thats ok I'm not meant to push it in fully.

Now turning (connecting up again) it on again same problem except this time it doesn't seem to be the same solution. It seems I have to get it at an exact angle to work properly, which i'm thinking isn't how it's meant to work. Just wondering if anyone had this problem? Or hopefully i'm doing something wrong?

Sounds like you got the HD switch switched on!

No the HD switch wasn't on. It was either dodgy cable or console, doesn't matter now anyway it has been replaced.

Now all I have to do is finish my thesis and then I can play COD4 and Halo3, should only be waiting maybe 5 months!
