Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vodafone HSDPA coverage

Signed up with 3 because of their data plans, and have since been waiting for somebody else to come up with reasonable data prices.

Vodafone has now introduced their €9.99/month (500MB) bundle, alternatively a "pay as you go" option capped at 99c/day. I am therefore considering moving to Vodafone, but can't find any information on whether their 3G is actually HSDPA or only UMTS.

Found their coverage map, but it doesn't mention HSDPA at all:

    http://www.vodafone.ie/coverage/

Instead they've two different types of 3G: "3G" and "3G Broadband". Would "3G Broadband" indicate HSDPA? Or does it simply show where their Mobile USB Broadband works?

Both "3G" and "3G Broadband" appear to cover the same areas(which would make sense if my latter option is correct, but then there shouldn't be a need to distinguish between the two options on the map), but perhaps that's just in my area (Cork)?

Should I expect HSDPA to be available in all of Vodafone's 3G areas?

No you shouldn't, 3G Broadband would indicate HSDPA, vodafone may well have 3 networks, 2G UMTS and HSDPA depending on how they have rolled out there network upgrade, i would ring them
