Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Recently had some paintings for sale in an Auction, with one of Dublins finest Art and Antique Auctioneers.

One of our paintings went for a very nice amount which we were very happy about. But today, I received a phone call saying that they made a mistake as they had been bidding on a painting for someone that was not there and bid on mine instead of the one the person wanted, they won the auction bidding on my painting and now they have declared the painting as not being sold.

I am wondering whether what they are doing is ok? As it is there mistake should they not have to face the music?
