Rory Gaffney and The Commander slip in under the radar at GPO on Saturday November 24th for a bit late night skull duggery. Known in more than one or two barrios for their lethal concoctions of tech-house, tech-no and tech-whatever-you-can-get, these two bandidos are even rumoured to have lengthy dossiers deep in the bowels of Mill Street Garda Station. Expect some new, some old and some bold from the Boat Party boys, and yes, you probably should tell your mom you won't be home straight afterwards! Its time to quit your jibber jabber fool!

Also on the night are new up and coming LIVE act, PRODUSE who'll be playing down in Drum . . .

Produse are Gav O’Hare and Jamie Clarke .Working together since 2004,
they choose to record on old analogue instruments. Their sound has
gradually progressed into an electronic mix of many styles; from
breakbeat to electro, house, downbeat, techno and to almost rock.
With a solid back catalogue they prefer to completely remash their
tracks for live gigs, changing sometimes downbeat tracks into big
pounding dance-floor tunes and 4/4 into breaks – and vice versa.
Their live sets are usually a pounding and electrifying mix of
breaks, techno, electro, and everything in between, keeping them
pretty busy behind the mass of equipment they use at every gig.
Produse have played all the big venues in Dublin and were one of the
most popular acts at the now infamous Hospital party at Glenart
Castle in the summer of ’05. The lads have been headline acts at
Planet Underground, The Weird Scientist and Bodytonic on numerous
occasions and tore up the Temple Bar Music Centre for the ‘05 New
Year’s Eve 12HANDS event. Produse have also played for the Dublin
Fringe Festival September ’06 and have supported, Jim Hutchinson,
Marco Bernardi and CJ Boland. More recently the duo lifted the roof
off the Electric Arena at Life Festival 2007 in Gort.
Produse’s first EP Copy Paste Delete is due for release in November
under Desy Balmers label Nice & Nasty. Previous releases have been on
US label Eight Track which was a remix for Cosmic Groove Transmission
and a compilation on Nice and Nasty called 3x3.
We can expect big things from Produse over the next year with
interest from 4 more labels looking to snatch up some of Produse’s vibe.
