cant connect using vpn

have a vpn connection setup over a year ago. basically am in an office and want to login into a pc remotely using the vpn.have 10 pcs in the office. can connect to the remote pc from these nine machines but not on my one. can connect to the internet with no probelms(am using broadband). the error i get when trying to connect to the vpn is error 721 the remote pc did not respond.
have removed the vpn connection and set it up again. have also gone and unistalled the n/w card and reinstalled it again.

any ideas apprecited
