Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Im thinking about getting a 360, but I was just wondering about the hard drive. Im looking at an Arcade model (as its the cheapest one i can buy :p) but I noticed that it doesnt come with a HD. I know I can attach any normal HD with a usb2 cable, but what can I do with this HD? Would I be able to save games on in, or is that only for the official xbox HD's?

    Thanks a mil,

    Alan

rite. cheers for that. the console comes with 256mb memory card. How long would one of them last me? Like, how many mb's would one save of, oh lets say GoW or Halo, take up?

    Thanks for the swift reply,

    Alan

not sure how big saves are, but tbh youre better off getting a harddrive for game updates etc

The games themselves should tell you how much memory a savegame takes up on the back of their box, at a guess I'd say around 1MB per game, but as Helix said you may still have to download updates which might take up a fair chunk of it too.
I might be selling my 20GB HD soon, and I'm sure a few others will as well if you want to keep an eye on adverts.ie
