    Hi,

I'm trying to decide on a tool for developing the UI for a so called Rich Internet Application.

Considering using the Grails framework (not a fanboy, but it looks good for fitting together Spring/Hibernate/AJAX/Groovy) so looking for something that can fit into that for creating the UI. Siteflex is what is mentioned in all the Grails documentation.

I'm also looking at Adobe Flex (I'm guessing this requires plug-ins, not ideal)
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flex/

    Open Lazlo
    http://www.laszlosystems.com/

    Possibly the GWT
    http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/

What is the level of awareness and/or experience out there with any of these products?

Are there any alternatives that people are very happy with?

This would be a Java based system probably deployed as an EJB deployed on an J2EE server.
