Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

looking for a good job

    Hi friends, I am looking for a good job. Does anyone know the different types of accounting jobs out there, and how much they pay? I am planning on going into the Accounting field; I am in high school and currently taking Accounting 1. I want an accounting job that would pay in 6-digit numbers as fast as possible after graduating college with masters. Any help or advice you can give me?

    I wish I was that naive again...................

    6 figures as fast as possible. Sorry to burst the bubble kid but getting over a 100K as an accountant could take a good ten years after qualification- unless you emigrate.

    Are you looking to work here or stay in America?

    Theres not that many different types of accoutning jobs out there. Public practice, Industry or fund accountant are the three.

    Youll probably be starting on about 25k.

    Very few jobs in Ireland where you just graduate and a couple of years later your making 100K:D
