    Rifle seized in central Dublin

    A 22-year-old man was arrested after a rifle was found in a bag he was carrying on Camden Street, Dublin just before 9pm last night.

    Gardaí seized what is believed to be an AK-47 assault rifle and ammunition after they stopped and searched the man in Dublin city centre.

    The man is being detained at Harcourt Terrace Garda Station.

    Its hardly a real AK surely although you just dont know now whats goin on.

    Nothing to do with shooting as a sport, automatic weapons are illegle items.
