    Hi there.
Ill be in Australia very shortly and will be looking to have a laptop sent from Dear Auld Dublin to Sydney.
Any ideas on the best & safest way to do this?
DHL or Fedex, something like that?
Im just a little apprehensive as its an expensive laptop and I want to choose the safest option in order to minimize the risk of it going astray or being damaged...
Although sometimes its unavoidable, I know! :)
    Thanks & Greetings from Malaysia!

As far as courier companies go I dont think it'll make all that much difference but whoever you send it with I'd make damn sure its packed in something like this http://www.matias.ca/laptoparmor/index.php

Should keep a laptop safe if or rather when some muppet trys to play "catch" with it  http://www.matias.ca/laptoparmor/resources/LaptopArmorDrop.mov (4mb)

if you think hard enough and picture it where you want it to be nothing will happen. but then that's life. but if you try it will be amusing
