    Hi,

I'm hoping to launch a new eCommerce but I've no idea how much to charge for advertising on the website eg banner ads, buttons, etc. Anyone know what the going rate for advertising on a website is or where I can get information on this?

    thanks a mill,
    Vangogh

If its a new venture .. then you don't have much traffic to your site.

As such it would not be reasonable to charge very much for this. Once your website is up and running a while you can start to charge.

For information I'd point you at http://www.irishwebmasterforum.com/online-marketing-discussion/

Its a wealth of information and well worth a read through the various posts there.
