Whats the story with unsolicited PM's?

Just got an unsolicited PM from a newly registered user wanting to make friends with Irish people, Ignore it or tell him to Fvck off? Looks like he's sent the same PM to other users as well. He may be lonely in a new country but PMing strangers to be his friend is a bit much :D
