What's going on in Knocknacarra Church?

What the title says. was out for a run this evening and i went by, there was about 4 Guards at the junction between Ballymoneen road and Shangort road, with Garda no parking bollards all over the place. Cars were everywhere and masses were filing into the church... not to mention the Garda van that was doing the rounds. that's the most amount of Gardaí i've ever seen in Knocknacarra, was it all just for a funeral or something?

Off topic, but today in the space of two hours sitting in the Living Room, I counted forty two cops. I know it's beside the cop shop, but really, they were bloody everywhere today!

Bizarre that I too noted today a huge presence of Gardai on Shop Street, and two cop vans and a two cars near Eglinton Street...I know it's near the courthouse, but seems like there is something more going on.

There was a military escort hanging round outside lynch's Castle, but I presume thatwas just a concidence unless there was megabucks being moved.
