Hi, something strange happens to our IT set up, was wondering if anyone here has ever come accross this or has any suggestions.

We've a 2MB broadband connection from Eircom, we're using a Zyxel router and firewall (hardware units). Every feew hours, we find we cannot get any connectivity through Port 21 (FTP port) - we have various uses for FTP and we have to switch off the router and firewall (effectively resetting the broadband connection) - one it reconnects all is fine (until the next time).

This doesn't affect web or email - only FTP use.

It's got to the stage where we have to plug out and reset over couple of hours.

Anyone know if this is a router issue or an Eircom issue?
