Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is this board still active, if so where is there any tuition available for complete beginners, besides dublin city centre, is there any in suburbia....North/South?

Mximus, you should really have a go at some self study CD's first. I really recommend it. It's just so you don't start the lessons without a clue how the language works.

I recommend Michel Thomas' course. It's very expensive, but I got it for free.

PM me for info. I can help you.

I got a Linguaphone course free with a Sunday Newspaper. Really helped me before I left for South America.
