    Lyon v Barcelona, 19:45 Barca
Man Utd v Sporting, 19:45 ManYoo
    Sevilla v Arsenal, 19:45 Draw
Steaua Bucharest v Slavia Prague, 19:45 Steau
VfB Stuttgart v Rangers, 19:45 Draw

    Besiktas v Marseille, 19:45 Draw
Celtic v Shakhtar Donetsk, 19:45 Draw
    Lazio v Olympiakos, 19:45 Lazio

    Rosenborg v Chelsea, 19:45 Chelski
    Valencia v Schalke 04, 19:45 Schalke
Werder Bremen v Real Madrid, 19:45 Real

Champions League footie back on tonight. ManYoo and Arse are already through, I expect Utd to bounce back from the Bolton defeat with a decent margin of victory while I don't think Arsenal will win in Seville. Elsewhere its **** or bust time for Pool but I do think they'll do it and Chelsea are as good as through also. Barca - Lyon looks like being the tie of the round.

If Liverpool lose tonight are they effectively outski?

Cant wait for Unireh! After the weekend's performance :(, I wanna see a few goals for us. Ronaldo and Vidic will start, thank fook. But so will JOSH, Fletch, and I think Tommy... And the gaffuhh is debating who to start up front; Saha "played" a full game against Bolton, so as you can imagine he has to stay in an isolation chamber for a while in case a bird sh*ts on him and shatters his bones -- and Tevez is supposedly knackered after flying back from international duty and playing against Bolton.

It wont be a walk over! Wish Rooney was back :( And also wish we could have Anelka :D

    edit:

    lol @ O L Y M P I A K O S being censored :p Olymp.ia = MCD venue AFAIK.....

Arsenal are resting a lot of players no? Sevilla could well take this against what is effectively gona be the Arsenal kids, so like a bunch of 16 year olds :)

I'm very much looking forward to this game. Championship winning teams bounce back, so let's see it tonight I hope :)

No Gallas or Adebayor anyway afaik. Like I said I can't see Arsenal winning. Having said that the Carling Cup kids have taken a few notable scalps - Pool and Spurs first teams last year more or less. So nothing is beyond the bounds of possibility.

Liverpool First Team: (v Arsenal last year) Dudek, Peltier, Hyypia, Paletta, Warnock (Alonso 58), Guthrie, Gerrard, Aurelio, Gonzalez (Luis Garcia 11) (Carragher 75), Fowler, Bellamy.

I doubt Arsenal will get a draw tonight. They couldn't win away in Prague and Sevilla's gonna be a much tougher place to go. My guess is 2-0 to Sevilla.

And yeah, it was hardly a Liverpool first XI the Carling Cup team beat last year.

RTE are showing the Lyon vs Barcelona game tonight
What do arsenal have to do in order to get on RTE ??
When was the last time they showed an Arsenal game?
Do they not have the rights or something ?

    Fair enough, my mistake.

Only Arsenal CL games I've seen on RTE were the Semi-final vs Villareal and the final. Maybe they feel Arsenal don't have the fanbase (which doesn't seem to be the case) so it must be the rights thing.

Sevilla have been really bad over the last while, Arsenal win for me.

Roma to win in Kiev, hopefully Utd win, so we have a firm grasp on second spot.

    Tomorreh.

Someone tell me which game to watch and why. I'm open to suggestions until 19.30.

I fancy Arsenal to get at least a draw.

    Almunia

    Hoyte Touré Senderos Traore

    Eboue Fabregas Gilberto Denilson

    Bendtner Eduardo

That's the team apparently... could be a 4-5-1.

I don't have Sky, so I'm going with RTE and Barca Lyon.

    What is on Setanta?

United are on Setanta Ireland and Arsenal are Setanta 1 (or 2, not sure).

Sevilla v Arsenal, with United on UTV I think.

Sky are showing Barcelona as well, and Rangers. Think I'll join you on the Lyon-Barcelona boat Des.

Souness is right about Barca. I love RTE coverage, but really their FOOTBALL knowledge is rather stuck in the 60s.

Like I mean ''Iniesta is a grafter''...this is the same Andreas Iniesta that I watch every week right? The one who has more talent than Cesc...
