Copenhagen to Berlin - Anyone done it?

Hi thinking of cycling from Copenhagen to Berlin, sometime next year. would book flights into one city and out of the other, with our bikes and book accomadation over the net for various places along the way. Anyone done it? and would you recommend it? most, but not all is on a cycle path. Thanks
