Don't think so, Insurance would be the biggest issue here for Various reasons.

Some people love leasing cars here and recon its cheaper than ownership.
For purely weekend driving rental is cheaper than ownership.

Thats a really good service.. I'd say it is great for people living in London. The tube will take you most places but for going a little further you can borrow one of these!
