Right Guys, I have a company car.
I pay BIK at at rate of 30% on this car as I do less than 15k per year.

What I want to know is, this car has a list price of €26,710 (Honda Civic 4dr Saloon). But I thought OMV (open market value) was the price of the car minus the VRT & VAT?

Am I right or am I wrong?

    I'm wrong, crap :)

The Original Market Value (OMV) of a car is the price
(including any duty of customs, duty of excise or
value-added tax chargeable on the car) which the car
might reasonably have been expected to fetch, if sold in
the State singly in a retail sale in the open market,
immediately before the date of its first registration in
the State or elsewhere. Original market value includes
    vehicle registration tax (VRT).
