Lucan Model Car Club will host a Christmas Grand Prix meeting for 1:10 190mm Electric Touring Cars at their indoor venue in Celbridge on December 28th.

Run in the Mill Community Centre, Celbridge, Co. Kildare, the racing will take place on a polished wooden floor with classes planned for both 19turn and 27turn with Schumacher Yellow Mini Pins (20mm) the tyre of choice.

Full details of the event should be available shortly on the Lucan Model Car Club website - www.lucanmodelcarclub.com

Following on from the great success of the recent Munster Grand Prix in Fermoy (http://www.redrc.net/2007/11/lawlor-bickerstaff-win-at-fermoy-gp/) this is set to be another great rc event.

I have a count of 7 so far travelling up from Fermoy to the event.
How many sets of mini-pins per driver would be required for the event?

A set of pins will last a couple of race meetings so the one set each is all you will need and Mick Bolger is the guy to get them off.

The wides work, the car feel more stable, but will not lap as quickly as when running on narrow.
