    So very strange... i spent 3 weeks in Manila back in August and stayed in that very hotel. Watching a tank drive into the lobby is surreal to say the least.

    It hasn't been a good couple of months by all accounts...just over a month ago there was a bomb/explosion in a shopping mall less than 100 yards from the hotel.
