Wiikey Update?

    Hey,

    been searching for the answer to this for a while with no joy. hopefully someone could help me???

    ok, i have a wiikey installed from modchipsireland. i lent it to a friend of mine for a while and now have it back and want to play some newer games on it. From what i can see i need to update the wiikeys firmware to 1.9g. however i download this from wiikey.cn and try to unzip it (with winrar) and it said it was corrupted. i also tried 1.9b, which says the same. i presume i dont burn the zipped file to disk! Do i need something else to open it?

    EDIT: in the end i found it on a torrent site and was able to unzip it, however downloading from wiikey.cn still causes it to be corrrupt, well for me anyway

    Nintendo don't seem to be as stringent on illegal games activity as Microsoft or Sony...

    However we can't discuss getting backup games up and running on the Wii here, only the mod chip and homebrew itself.
