Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Paying Tax for Employee PAYE??? - Softwear

I am setting up a company and have one employee who i wish to pay. I dont know much about calculating tax and my obligations to pay PRSI / tax

The employee is going to work another job with another empoyler and work with me at the same time.

My understanding is that my employee must give me a tax cert from the Revenue which will state how the employee wishes for their tax credits to be distributed between myself and the other employer. - Is this correct?

How do I calculate what tax and PRSI to Pay. I would like to know manually how to do it.

Also is their any softwear available which will calculate the tax for me and issue the employee with a pay slip.

I only have one employee and might only have them for a few months so i dont want to spend too much on softwear, but still want to cover my obligations as an employer to issue P60, P45 etc.

Any advice would be most welcome

    Hi

Don't forget that you are an employee as well, you will need to do your own tax PRSI etc

I use collsoft, you can just put in the net amount and it works out the rest,
realy easy and really quick to set up and use,
€120 for the licience for the year.
