Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aston Villa v Arsenal, 17:15 Draw
    Blackburn v Newcastle, 15:00 Blackburn
Chelsea v West Ham, 12:45 Chelski
    Portsmouth v Everton, 15:00 Erm, 6-6 Draw?
    Reading v Middlesbrough, 15:00 Reading
    Sunderland v Derby, 15:00 SundIreland
Wigan v Man City, 15:00 Citeh

    Sunday, 02 December 2007
    Liverpool v Bolton, 15:00 Pool
    Tottenham v Birmingham, 16:00 Tiny Tots 5-4 (HT 0-4)

    Monday, 03 December 2007
Man Utd v Fulham, 20:00 ManYoo

Looking at my brand spanking new shiny fixture list there are a couple of games that should provide some tasty entertainment. First off, Villa v Arsenal. Le Arse have been rather decimated by injuries lately and with Villa on fire after whacking Blackburn 4-0 during the week this should be a very difficult trip to the midlands for Arsenal team that will probably be missing Hleb, Clichy, Van Persie and possibly Fabregas. The other game that whets my appetite is Pompey V Everton. Both teams are flying. Should be good. And those "relegation dogfights" to quote The Sun usually throw up some interesting fare, Sunderland and Derby should be painfully entertaining. Oh and expect the requisite wins from Pool, Chelsea and Man Utd. Yawn.

Edit: Can a moderator please correct the thread title, it should be guaranteed not guarenteed...arrrrgh me hates mispellings!

A draw for Liverpool at home against Bolton would be a shock. What is it in the last 3 games ??? 14 scored 1 conceeded?

It does depend on the selection, but I'd hardly call 1 draw and 4 losses at Anfield in the last 5 years a bogey team. Anyhow...we will find out on Sunday.

Torres is allergic to the goal posts in the premiership... They're like a magnetic field that repels his shots

(cringes and waits for Torres to bang 4 in against Bolton to spite me after he reads this thread - we all know they read it)

I think this weekend is gona be big.
Bolton on a high after beating United will give Liverpool something to consider (although I think Liverpool should win).
Arsenal without Fabregas Van Persie and Hleb, probably their best three players, go to an in form Villa. I'm very hopeful here that they will drop some points.
Chelsea vs. West Ham is a derby and anything can happen, but Chelsea are beginning to gel, it's impressive.
United need to bounce back with a solid victory against Fulham, of that there's no doubt. With Rooney back, I think it should happen.
Portsmouth and Everton is gona be a cracker of a match I think.

It should be, so expect Match of the Day to dedicate all of 3 minutes to the game in preference to a very boring game involving one of the "Big Four".

United are going to maul Fulham. I hold no hope of them slipping up there.

Hleb (he was meant to be out for weeks, he's the Wolverine!) and Clichy face late fitness tests for the Villa game. Fabregas is definately out, although Reo-Coker is suspended for Villa. It's a massive test for Arsenal.

Thankfully it's not live on TV anyway or it would be a guaranteed 0-0 and probably a missed peno for Pompey.

West Ham are awesome to watch at Chelsea so far. Parker is immense, Cole is doing really well up front and Boa Morte is dangerous. Still think Chelsea will win though.

Mikel is a highly irritating player, first he crunches Parker from behind and is lucky to get away with a yellow, then he gets barely tripped himself and jumps up waving an imaginary yellow, then he goes to ground like he's been shot and gets Boa Morte booked. Some man altogether.
