This is at the bottom of the post where your photos used to be:

Last edited by jaycee : Yesterday at 22:52. Reason: 2 pics needlessly graphic , 1 subject's permission to publish unclear

basically he's saying that two of the photos were too graphic (his words not mine) and that he is unsure whether or not the guy in the picture gave you permission to put his a picture of him in a public forum.

    Getting very legalistic now !

"If you have a problem with an action of the moderators, PM them or take it up on the Feedback forum" from the charter

Anybody have a link to the feedback forum (cant find it in the drop down menu), or to a thread on this issue if it already exists. I cannot remember the pictures being overly graphic compared to some of the pictures already posted and defended by other Mods and would like some clarification.

    Thanks

"Posts containing offensive material will be edited by the moderators." & "This is a hunting forum so if you're anti-hunting, don't post and don't read any posts; you are going to be offended." extracts from the Charter.

Offensive as in abuse towards another poster or offensive as in a bit of blood and guts ? Hunters shouldn't be offended by blood and guts, or else they are in the wrong game.

Second quote says it all as far as I'm concerned.

I reckon restore the pictures of the fox. Good idea not to post any with people in them though.

I didn't see any problem with them either! Sounder just asked what it meant and I explained it to him! People are warned enough before they enter the hunting pictures thread, can't see why this set of pictures had to be singled out.

... I truly find this forum a waste of time due to the internal political bickering. There's always something

I really agree with johngalway. When you see some of the responses posted on this forum, one could genuinely form the opinion that we're more anti shooting than the antis themselves. Constant negativitity, bickering, smart-arsed responses to genuine questions censoring of anything even remotely politically incorrect.

Some of our best contributors have stopped posting recently because of the constant crap (and at least one was banned), and I can't blame them. The only reason I ever check this forum these days is the belief that I'll someday see a 'here's the restricted list', or similar post. I'd love to blame the mods, but in general they do a fairly good job. I'm now starting to think that the people that post here are maybe just a$$holes.

I'm sure this isn't the place for such a rant, but I had to say it, sorry. This forum would give a terrible impression to someone thinking of getting into shooting. I look at a shooting forum like shotgunworld.com or rimfirecentral.com, where the people are helpful, forgiving, non-judgemental, they have a sense of humour, and I think 'why the hell can't we have a shooting forum like that in Ireland'?

    Flame away.

    Good Rant Dime,:)

But i reckon some posters here take it far too seriously. It great to see people who truly love the sport, but to some its an obsession:confused: This forum is just like all 3 gunclubs in my area,or any other type of club or social setting. some good folk some okay folk some gob****es and a couple of arseholes. Thats life and it ain't gonna change anytime soon. Living is more interesting like this, how quickly would you become bored if, everyone agreed with everyone all of the time about everything???????? quickly i'm sure:)

There would be nothing to gossip about:eek:
    and noone to bitch about:eek::eek:

I don't want to live in that world;)

P.s I generally like your posts.

    Post well and vigourously.

    Hezz.
