can anyone explain in simple terms what bit torrent means ?? I download music but feel left behind as I keep hearing/ reading about the above ?? keep it simple !!

Look at this pic. This big PC is seeder he shares one file using torrent protocol, torrent protocol splits one file in to the peaces. So let say you your friend and your neighbour is downloading same torrent from same seeder. To download file you need to download all parts let say A-B-C. You download part A from seeder in same time your friend download part B and your neighbour part C, then you download part B from your friend and part C from your neighbour and they download from you and each other. I hope that will make sense for u lol
