Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ohhh .. while i do love Laptop / Midi route for DJ'ing, coming from a vinyl background, does anyone else have a problem remembering the names of tunes.... it really is something im not accustomed to!!!

It used to be a case of just pulling out the record with the yellow cover and the angel on the front .. or the trippy purple flower .. etc .... but now ... its .......really really difficult to find the right tune, despite how i might name, describe or otherwise.

It makes things so less spontaneous.

Does anyone know of any software that allows the use of album art in selections ? (Mac only)

Its really doing my nut in - most of my stuff has art in Itunes .. (i get it from discogs.org)

    HELP

IIRC PCDJ does a MAC version and will show album art, alternatively do a google search like this 'dj software album art' usually get a few hits. HTH

Yup, Mac version with no demo which is why i've stayed clear of it :( ...I'm not going to take a chance on something I cant test, there's too much software out there with incompatibilities that doesn't do what it says on the tin,

I've fired them an email asking for demo / suggestions seeing as they don't have a dealer listed for Ireland.

And I'm well used to google thanks, but it doesn't come up with much apart from PCDJ !

Serato will do it too, but not really what I want, seeing as i'm all midi'd up, already have a nice external soundcard/mixer setup.
