son and 3 friends coming to carlow IT jan 2008 FOR 5 MONTHS .were is best place to find a house to rent there can anyone help please .

college green, bullock park are the closest but for quality housing bullock park although a litttle further(like200 yards from the estates) it has proper houses not just student housing try the accomadations officer, ask on 0599170400, 70400 is the it carlow reception and she will tell you whats available and whats not.

eh dont mean to plug my own business in but my digs has a twin room open for rent - it would accomodate 2 people; has broadband and all the bills inclusive and theyd get theyre own ensuite and theres a student sitting area and private entrance. 100 each for 5 days meals and cleaning too. 7 days 120 each. lol overheal, so hows this going anyway nice other then the house that overheal is floggin(which very nice let me tel you i stayed in that room one night very comfortable and such, again not to thread spoil).

I'm currently renting in Southern Gardens, (couldn't really get any closer to the college)... me and another girl are moving out after xmas due to work experience so two nice rooms available there..

i live in riverside (2 minutes from town and bout 7/8 minutes walk to college) and looking for a new housemate! 3 lads including myself living there at the moment. room is a very big room. €62.50 a week excluding electric and gas bills! Refuse and cable included in rent!

Looking for tidy person but willing to be up for a bit of craic!

Hi, two rooms have just become available in Millbrook, (near to Carlow Castle) off kennedy st.
just few minutes walk from town centre (saves on taxis at night). 15 mins walk to the college.
2 girls living in the other two rooms. rent is 280 a month. refuse and tv satellite included.
gas and electricity are extra but apartment is quite warm so bills are reasonable.
There's gated parking aswell if you drive. pm if your interested.

Damn I might be looking for a new place comes next year. My current house is in sleaty road one of those new building its €95 thats without bills or anything else. Expensive init.
