    Years ago Boney M were supposed to be playing...the Union even issued tickets for it...surprise surprise they didn't show up!

    Of course the joke around the college was that they never made it because their plane had crashed...where? "By the rivers of Babylon..." :rolleyes:

    Did the vengaboys really play earlier this year?

    I tried to get tickets for this but twas a selected invited crowd only:confused: I used to love east 17!

    Yea they played earlier this year. What are you talking about selected invited crowd only? I got a ticket as did all my friends. Didnt go in the end but I dont think it even sold out?

    What were they like? God I remember back in the day (how old am I!) friends seeing them in the Point....Take That do sell out stadium gigs and East 17 play Maynooth...so were they terrible? :D
