Quick question about line quality!

    Hello there,

Just a quick question. Been having some troubles here with work internet connection. Usual stuff with connection problems, bad speeds etc.

The blame is currently being laid at the door of it being a poor line from the (Summerhill) exchange to the premises at North Wall Quay. Now, its an Eircom line obviously enough, but its ADSL2 (not eircom) being squirted down it. I dont have access to the "modem" as such as its all plugged into routers and firewalls and all that nonsense.

So, the question is, if the line is the problem is there anythign that can be done about it? Is ADSL2 more tolerant of poor line quality? Is there any way to order up a "better" line?

Apologies for multiple questions, interweb has my head wrecked!

    Simon
