    The following is taken from their blog;

    The Dublin event:
    "Hi all,

You probably knew already that going vegetarian is far kinder to the environment than eating meat and fish! This Saturday, though, you'll have the rare opportunity to meet vegetarians and get active against climate change! All you have to do is come to our meetup at Govindas. Well, almost!

Agnes (who I met briefly at our last meetup) and myself have arranged to meet at Govinda's on Middle Abbey Street at 2.30 this Saturday, December 8th, and we'd like everyone who can make it to join us.

Hope to see some of you there next Saturday.

    Best wishes,
    Colm"

    Galway:
"On a more local level, a reminder that the December
monthly meeting of our Galway Vegetarian Group will
be on this Thursday December 6th at 8pm in Massimos Pub,
    William Street West, Galway City.

I have put up some posters advertising this meeting
in the city centre and a large number of "Veggie Christmas
or Not" posters advertising this meeting in NUIG and GMIT
as there is lots of postering space available there. I also
managed to place an advert in the Galway Independent which
should be in tomorrow's Wednesday's edition. So
please try to make it along to welcome all the new members
    expected from such publicity.

It may be that we will have a film crew from GMIT present.
So perhaps some members might volunteer to be interviewed
as to why they are vegetarian. Letting you know as you might
want to think out your reasons in advance.

Remember that a proposal for the next meeting (8pm on
Thursday December 6th)I have is to develop a twinning
with a vegetarian group not in this country.
On the activeg website www.activeg.org I came across
the Leicester group who meet on the first Thursday of the
month (day we meet) from 7:30pm : Perhaps we could do
a Skype audio-visual link. I even know the place where they
meet as I have been there in the 90's before their group was
founded in 2001. I think we could develop from
such a twinning. I will forward this posted message to
them. The website of the Leicester group is
    www.leicesterveggies.org.uk"
