Inspired by the thread in the cars forum. How much do you lot spend on fuel every month? What bike do you have? I don't have a bike, nor do I know how to drive one, but I'm giving some thought to getting one in the next year.

I put in 26 euros last week! 22 litres in FJR, 25 litre capacity.
Average 7L/100km or 40mpg in M50 traffic, spend a lot of time in 2 or 3 gear
Economy improves on long runs, but can't remember those figures. Need a good run again soon...

17-18 litres every 110-120 miles  in other words, barely over 30mpg.
    Triumph Sprint ST.
To be fair, this is city commuting where it rarely gets out of 2nd gear.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Depending on the cost. I'm getting 54mpg on my V-Strom 650 & usually but about 17.5 litres in on a fill (22 litre tank).

Honda Deauville - €21 fills the tank which gets around 325km. seems to average 5.1l according to the computer. gets me 4 days to work and back

    cbr600f4i

    250K (160miles) on Full tank 18L

    40mpg

super unimpressed with that for a 600, and its actaully better now that i have a k&n filter, FULL yoshmuira system and dyno'd

120 miles each week, mostly commuting, a roughly four gallon tank (5 US), costing around 14 Euros. Not great, but the H-D VRSR will filter through and against the heaviest traffic with a little patience and nerve. Now the fuel performance is much better once a person can stretch out a little in the country, but that is only a small proportion of my week.

I commute every day and I fill up about every 10 days to two weeks
    - costs about 11 euro. (Virago XVS535DX)

13 litres gives me around 165km on the R1100s in town. Motorways give me an easy 200km or more.

Have an FJR1300 here and fill the tank once a week.

25l tank and fills vary from €25-€28 depending on how far into the reserve i let it go.

full tank is usually 300km till i hit reserve then you can get another 75km from reseve but you will be running on fumes at that point.

happened 2 weeks ago i went to fill it up and it was just over €28 with 24.5l going into it, might have squeezed in another 100-200ml
it was gasping for fuel trying to make it to the petrol station :o

usually end up spending about €100+ per month on fuel.

20 litres (in a 25 litre tank) gives about a 350km range, combined urban/motorway. The reserve indicator turns on when there's (according to the manual) between 5 and 7 litres left in the tank. Watching the reserve indicator makes me nervous, so I usually refill straight away, hence the 20 litre average fill. :)
