Alcohol shipment to USA ?????

    Does anyone know if its possible to ship or courier alcohol to the USA, I have a friend in Vermont and he loves sherry ,( Winter's Tale sherry ) which he can't get in the USA or canada . I would love to send him some but just don't know how or if its possible . Can anyone advise me ?

    Well I know the Celtic Whiskey Shop in Dawson Street will mail bottles to the States, so theoretically it's possible. Might cost you a fair whack though, their charges are:
    1 Bottle:€23

    2 Bottles :€32

    3 Bottles: €37

    4 Bottles: €41

    5 Bottles: €46

    6 Bottles: €50

    Obviously they'll take a portion of that, but I've no idea how much. It might be worth your while giving UPS or An Post a call.

    You're not meant to send liquids in the regular postal service, perhaps FedEx or similar might carry it.

    Thanks for that , I will see if i can get it in the USA and have it delivered direct from there or i will try the Celtic whiskey shop to see if the have it and can ship direct .
