Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cheers but to be honest, the threat of a successful lawsuit is minimal. It may damaged Boards.ie's reputation. It's basic moral decency. People: you really cannot see a line here? I don't have any personal feelings on the matter. I didn't know the woman. I won't know the next person. It doesn't matter - you don't piss on the dead.
Being a "celeb" (Debatable, of course) does forefeit a right to privacy in most respects but it doesn't give you a right to repeat hearsay/speculation, especially as fact. If it is confirmed that she died as a result of taking drugs, then we might have something to discuss... For now, there is nothing other than hearsay to say that this was the cause so I won't allow it and I'd ask that you think about why I won't.
