    Well

Ordered an automatic 2L Qashqai (SE) and was wondering what the road tax implications are after July next year?

Any ideas on future resale ability on this car, I understand its only new and that a crystal ball question!

Unless you register it after July you'll be using the current tax system

Resale won't be as high as a manual dci model, but if you need an auto, that's not important.

Its for herself and in fairness its the key factor. Hope fully the increase in VRT will help the second hand value of the car. Hopefully.

Yeah, was about to say a Diesel would be the better choice if you do.

OT, the mother has a C-Max 1.6 Petrol (07) with almost 30k on the clock  Trying for ages to get her to change to a Diesel, she likes the Quashqai but they're rarer than a fit Michael Owen to get hold of.
