Garmin 660 vs TomTom Equivilent

    So which is better?

    Best Irish mapping with street names essential
    Good directions sound (FM & Bluetooth)
    Not too bothered about the other special features

    Probably will spend between 350 and 450 euro.

    I think he meant the 660 which is on there for €349. Basically the 610 has UK+Ireland only, the 660 adds European mapping and the 670 adds US mapping. If you're only after Ireland and UK then the 610 would be a cheaper option.

    and the 660 has and FM transmitter, speaks street names whereas the 610 does not.

    I think its only the 660FM has the fm transmitter, its standard in the US, but no in Europe afaik.
