Car Tax

There's a number of threads where Ops are posting that car tax will be going down on certain cars due to it being based on emissions. As far as I'm aware only the VRT is based on C02 emissions and all car tax going forward is still based on engine size. Correct? :confused:

From July 2008 car tax will be based on emmissions but only for new and imported cars

existing cars will continue on the current tax, i.e. based on engine size
