Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Porting a number onto a number that has been ported previously

I have a 3pay phone that has an old 086 number I ported onto 3 a while back. I want to give this phone and sim to my dad who has a 087 number.

Questions: Can I get his 087 number ported onto my old phone?

Also are 3pay sims available for purchase yet?

i'd say no. If an agent tried to port a number onto a sim card that's already active on the network there'd be an error because you'd effectively be deleting the other person's account.

try calling them. It'll take you about an hour to get them to understand and sock puppets might be necessary but you might get lucky

I'm sure you could just port him in sim only, I assume three have a sim only port in pack. Commander Vimes is right that you can't switch it to the sim with your 086 number on it, unless you move the 086 number to a different sim first.

that's a very common mistake. You assumed 3 is a good network

Sadly they don't, hence my question.
